The Secrets of Huíla - Individual

At a time to be arranged, meet at the hotel with the representative from Cosmos Travel Angola. Panoramic tour of the city of Lubango. Dinner (not included) and overnight accommodation. Or meet at Luanda domestic airport 2 hours before departure for check-in formalities and flight to Lubango airport. Upon arrival, assistance by the local guide and transfer to the hotel in the city for check-in. Or meet with the Cosmos Travel Angola representative at a specified location. Optional city tour of Lubango, passing by the Cathedral, the Regional Museum of Huíla, Nossa Sra. do Monte, and the city garden, concluding with a visit to the Tundavala Gap to enjoy the sunset backdrop. After breakfast, departure to the local Chibia market, where we can observe the herders and Mumuíla families. We continue our tour to the Hunguéria and Huíla waterfalls. Picnic lunch and return to the hotel. Dinner (not included) and overnight stay.

This is an excellent day to learn more about the Secrets of Huíla. After breakfast, we begin our tour through the highest areas of Huíla, visiting the Alto Bimbe Gap, passing through areas with ancient eucalyptus trees and visiting the zoological station. You will be able to observe the local population in their daily activities. Picnic lunch, followed by a visit to the Leba Mountain Viewpoint, the Dutch cemetery, and Christ the King. Return to the hotel for dinner (not included) and overnight stay.

At the indicated time, departure towards the Bicuar National Park. During this journey, you will have the opportunity to pass through some villages and catch a glimpse of the daily routine of the Mumuíla people. Arrival at Vihua Lodge Resort for check-in and lunch (not included). Enjoy the afternoon to relax by the pool after the trip. In the evening, a game drive in this 10,000-hectare space, where you can spot many of the animals that live here freely (giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, gnus, gazelles, impalas, oryx, among others). Dinner around the campfire and overnight stay.

For the early risers, there is the possibility to participate in another game drive before breakfast (optional). After breakfast, return to the city of Lubango and check-in at one of the city's hotels. The rest of the day is free.

At a time to be arranged, transfer to the airport for check-in formalities and return to Luanda, or continuation of the tour.
