Early departure to Tômbwa, starting our journey south through the "Pink Dunes," the "Tides and Lagoons Corridor," where the grandeur of the vast desert takes our breath away. Arrival at the Foz do Cunene, with a stop to enjoy this unique location where, on one side, we find a lunar-like landscape, and on the other, the silver river bordered by lush green vegetation. Camping at the Iona Park, at the Geodetic Center. This remote area, home to thorny bushes, is inhabited by the Himba people, pastoralists who settle where their cattle can graze. Dinner around the campfire and overnight in tents.

This day is dedicated to experiencing the essence of Angola, visiting the village of Yona, where we will have direct contact with the native tribes—a people forgotten amidst the hot sands of the desert. The dominant tribe in this region is the Herero, which branches into different socio-cultural groups: Himba, Mukahona, and Mucuroca. We continue our journey to the Cunene province border, reaching Otchifengo. Picnic lunch along the way. Camping and dinner around the campfire at Otchifengo Camp Site.

After breakfast, we continue to Oncocoa, in the Cunene province, visiting the local market. Today's campsite will be near a Kimbo (traditional village) of the Herero people. Camping and dinner around the campfire.

Today, we head to Otchinjau, where the desert gives way to the steppe, and the landscape offers large trees that provide comforting shade. The baobab forest welcomes us to the land of the Mundimba people. Picnic lunch. Camping near a Mundimba village. Dinner around the campfire.

Heading north, our journey takes us to the Bicuar National Park, in Viriambundo, at the border with Huila province. Here, we have the opportunity to rest under the majestic shade of one of the largest trees in southern Angola, the majesficus thonningii. Lunch in the Bicuar National Park and a trail tour where you can observe a variety of wildlife in their natural habitat (antelopes, leopards, jaguars, zebras, giraffes). Dinner and overnight camping in the park.

Continuing within the Bicuar National Park, we proceed to the Vihua Lodge Resort, in the heart of the forest, where you will participate in a private safari. Zebras, giraffes, kudus, oryx, gazelles, impalas, reedbucks, bush cows, red palancas, gnus, elands, oryx, ostriches, and monkeys are part of the fauna in this protected area. Check-in and explore the surroundings. At sunset, you can either join another safari or relax by the pool. Barbecue dinner featuring game meats.

For early risers, an optional pre-breakfast safari is available to witness the awakening of nature, offering a unique sensory experience. After breakfast, departure to Lubango, passing through Chibia and the informal market, where you can interact with the Nyaneka Humbi (also known as Mumuílas) ethnic group. Opportunity for a panoramic tour of the town, featuring its civil and religious buildings of Portuguese colonial architecture. Dinner (not included) and overnight stay at one of the hotels in Lubango.
