Day 01
Luanda
After breakfast, depart to visit the main tourist attractions of the city of Luanda. Largo Primeiro de Maio, where Angola's independence was proclaimed and where we find the statue of Angola's first president. We will then continue along the city's avenues to the Fortress of São Miguel, the first fortification built in Luanda in the 16th century during the rule of Paulo Dias de Novais. In the City High area, where the assembly and presidential buildings are located, we will conclude the morning with a visit to the Dr. António Agostinho Neto Memorial, the resting place of the remains of Angola's first president. After lunch, we will continue with a visit to the Iron Palace and one of the city's museums (Museum of Coin, Museum of Natural History, Luanda Science Center, or Museum of Anthropology), depending on the museum's opening days. Dinner at a renowned restaurant, with the possibility of enjoying a dance evening or a bar with live music (optional). Overnight stay.
